Come on in, the water's lovely!
During 2020 a total renovation of the owners pool and the surrounding areas was undertaken.
The pool has a brand new liner, and a new heater. The old wood panels have been replaced with a metal fence offering uninterrupted views in every direction. The are new sun loungers and sun shades. There is also a solar shower for rinsing off excess sun-creams before swimming or just for cooling off.
A new pool cabin has been installed, there is a dual fuel barbecue which guests may use, a dining table and also a lounging area, which all have canopies for shade.
There is also a high-tech lighting installation to enable relaxed evenings by the pool to go on until bedtime and a blue tooth sound system to enjoy soothing sounds while you swim or to help with the holiday atmosphere while you watch the sunset. The surrounding flower beds have been refreshed, so that there is a little natural screening to soften the enclosure. To offer a little protection from the breeze and also for privacy there are pull out panel blinds.
The water is salt-treated, which keeps it clean and hygienic without having to load the pool with chlorine.
The final task was to re-tile the whole area.
Guests are asked to remember this is the owners pool, not for sole or private use of gite guests. Guests not respecting the pool rules covering safety, hygiene and protection of new equipment and furniture will not be permitted to use the pool area.
If governing bodies declare a drought situation or water shortage crisis leaving owners having to adhere to regulations regarding water usage, including possible pool closure the, owners cannot be held responsible.
The property totals an acre, so there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Each gite has its own private garden space, but guests may also use the firepit area and the boulodrome. We understand that everyone enjoys moments of silence and moments of madness too. We ask, simply, that you respect other peoples right to enjoy the shared space.
